Itzik Dadya
Itzik Dadya was born in 1993. Being only 6 years old, Itzik already performed in a synagogue of the city of Netivot where he grew up alongside his grandfather Chananiah z”l, who served as cantor of the synagogue. His extraordinary musical abilities brought him later on to perform in the choir of his school and in various singing competitions where he won the first place.
Towards the end of his childhood, Itzik performed for a short period of time as part of the Kinderlach band and even recorded a number of songs until his voice changed.
In 2010, Itzik recorded his debut album "Am Yisrael Chai". The album was very successful and the religious media has crowned Itzik as the next best thing in religious music. He toured South America and gained a lot of fans around the world.
In 2012 he released his second album 'Singing from the Soul' which won the title of 'Album of the Year'.
At the same time, he continued to perform all over the world and played a leading role in the musical 'Songs and Wonders'.
In 2013 Itzik joined the Military Rabbinical Band under the command of the Chief Cantor of the IDF, Lieutenant Colonel Shai Abramson, in which he served as the chief soloist. During that year he produced a single called "Rabbi Nachman" that won millions of hits on the web.
In the summer of 2014 he launched his third album "Mechaven El HaOr" in an impressive and prestigious performance at “Reading 3” in Tel Aviv with the participation of celebrities and media personalities.
During the year 2015, Itzik served as a judge on the reality show "The Next Voice", which brought a sensation in the Jewish music world. Itzik performs in many concerts in Israel and throughout the world with leading Chassidic and Jewish music artists such as Yehoram Gaon, Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried, Amir Hadad, Yitzhak Meir Helfgott and many more.
During the year 2016, Itzik performed with the Israel Symphony Orchestra.
Itzik is currently working on his fourth album, which will include original texts that he writes and composes himself. The album is expected to be released during 2018.
